mARC DE FAZIO

My name is Marc De Fazio, I have been a trainer with over 15 years experience. I started in high school with the Fitness program, after high school I registered to be a trainer with NASM (North American Sports Medicine) a world renown athletic training certificate. Once Certified I worked as a private trainer working with clients who desired a more specific sports goal. Shortly after I was offered a scholarship to play soccer in University in the United States, where I was pursuing a bachelor degree in Physical Sciences and Kinesiology. 


While in school I played competitive Division 2 soccer as well as Division 1 water polo and a lot of fitness exercises, nutrition and training programs were implemented in staying atop of my game. This allowed me to learn different training techniques and conditioning exercises to better my knowledge in the fitness industry. Once graduated with a bachelors degree I then was signed by an agent to go play soccer over seas in Italy. While in Italy I played professional soccer and the training regime for this was much different than North American sports. This allowed me to broaden my knowledge on training techniques to reach more specific conditioning goals and stability workouts. 


Once my contract was up in Europe I came back home and played semi-professional soccer in Niagara Falls for a CSL team. While there I did suffer an ACL injury where the recovery and Physio for this injury helped me better understand stability and joint mobility workouts and importance in different stretching techniques to implement in my training. 


In 2017 I started working for a Gym as a trainer, quickly I moved up to head trainer and eventually manager where I was working with Clients off all sorts of goals and conditioning levels. I started my own Gym in 2019 DFITT where I focus on helping clients reach any specific goals, through unique training techniques I have crafted and perfected through several different styles of training over my many years of professional sports. All ages all fitness levels and sports specific training are my focus on helping those who want to.
